Oh, hey there.

So today has been a pretty good day. I even wrote an exam today and it’s still great! Why? Well, because it was my ONE AND ONLY exam before holidays, therefore, I am technically, right now, on holidays.

My holidays have so far consisted of reading Beedle the Bard, eating lunch, watching youtube videos and taking vain pictures of myself with my webcam:

Beedle was fanstastic. It was a Harry Potter fix without much Potter, but it was still so fulfilling and SO interesting. i loved the part following the Fountain of Fair Fortune where Dumbledore mentions how Lucius Malfoy wanted to have that book taken out of the library at Hogwarts because he didn’t want wizard-muggle unions to be promoted in the school where his son went and his persistence on the matter. I found it so hilarious because all I could think about was Laura Mallory and her persistence when it came to getting Harry Potter out of the schools because they were “immoral” and against the bible and stuff. I really, really, think that Dumbledore’s comments on the subject was Jo alluding to her. I really want it to be true.

All of the other stories in Beedle were incredible. I loved every single one of them and I swear to god I’m going to read them to my children instead of Little Red Riding Hood and Hansel and Gretel because, well, they are just so magical and fantastic. I also love love loved how Jo cross-referenced Fantastic Beasts and other stories because it just made the stories and commentary seem so real.

Anywho. I’m really, really excited to go home on Sunday and to start really preparing for christmas. I desperately need to start christmas shopping because i have no idea what I’m going to get anyone. I’m so unprepared this year. Plus, I also have to start planning my christmas party and everything. It’s going to be so hectic but so fun.

I want Starbucks, plus, I want to make these delicious cranberry squares. Maybe I’ll see if the recipe’s online and make them. Hmm.

peas.
